Meet The Hatcher

Hi y’all — my name is Lane, and my vision for this business started in my childhood. I spent more time than I’d like to admit hovering over a tiny incubator — until my eyes got a little too big and I convinced my parents to help me upgrade to one that held a humble 400 eggs. Sorry, Mom and Dad. Getting to bring little lives into the world was a feeling I just couldn’t find anywhere else.

As an adult, I realized that many families and teachers would love to have that same experience but don’t always have the time, space, or long-term setup to purchase equipment and raise chicks after they’ve hatched. That’s why I started The Hatcher. We provide the incubator, fertilized eggs, step-by-step instructions, ongoing support throughout the 21-day process, and then return to collect the chicks once they hatch. You get the full experience without needing to manage a coop later on.

The goal is simple: make hatching accessible, educational, and enjoyable. Whether you’re a parent wanting a special experience at home, a classroom exploring life cycles, or a couple looking for a fun project together, this is a chance to participate in something memorable — without the long-term commitment.
