On Day 5, which typically falls on the first Thursday after setting your eggs on Saturday, you get to open the incubator and candle the eggs to see how the chicks are beginning to develop! This short video explains the simple process of candling. Do not be alarmed if you do not see much. Day 5 is still early in the process. The chicks will be much more visible on Days 7 and 10!
